Louis Braille

Learning to read is quite difficult  (1) kids that can see, so, imagine the problems blind kids have. Luckily for (2) , there is a system that helps blind people read, and it’s called the Braille system. With this system, people can read (3) using their fingers. The Braille system was invented by Louis Braille, who (4) born in 1809, in France. When he was a child, he could see perfectly, but (5) day, when he was 3, he injured one of his eyes, while playing with his father. Then his other eye got infected, and he became blind. His parents, however, sent him (6) a normal school, and he designed the Braille system to help himself, and other blind people, to learn to read.
